Sunday Swimming

We had so much fun visiting with Aunt Jenny, Uncle Lance, and all the cousins last Sunday. We met them at their hotel on Sunday, went swimming in the pool, and then hung out in their room to watch a movie and eat junk food. Jack and Josie had a blast. It was Josie's first time in a pool and she couldn't stop laughing, she really loved the water.

That silly guy on the end is Matthew. Jack was learning how to jump in.

Later that day Jack even got to make cookies. He he had fun getting really messy!

Dance Party

So the sun didn't really stick around like we thought it would. We have had lots of rain this week. But we are getting more creative indoors. One of Jacks new favorite things to do is having a dance party.

We crank up some fun kids music and jump and dance all around the house. Jack can really get his grove on, Josie thinks this is hilarious. Our favorite dance music is by Dan Zanes and They Might Be Giants children's albums.

Spring is here!

Well it looks like spring is finally here! What crazy weather we have been having, last week the flowers outside were covered in an inch of snow. But this week the sun has been shining and it looks like it will finally stick around. The kids were so excited to start playing in the back yard again.

Jack quickly began digging were he had left off last October. Josie was so excited to start doing big girl things like swinging, sliding, she even played a little soccer!

The last few months have been pretty good for us as a family. At the beginning of the year Tyler's company was sold to a very large global company. So he has been working pretty hard to help with the transition. He seems to really like the new company though and is doing really well there. I am enjoying being at home with the kids and all of the little adventures that we run into.

Jack is becoming such a big boy these days. He is full of things to say, tonight he said to me " Mommy, you sure are a good construction mommy" In his world that is a huge compliment. He loves anything about construction, he could seriously dig with his trucks in the dirt all day long. Josie is 15 months now, she is so cute, she doesn't talk yet, but she sings little songs all the time. I really can't put into words how adorable it is. She doesn't seem to be interested in walking yet. I think it is because she knows she can keep up with Jack better when she crawls. He loves to run circles around her.
